During my college days, I had the special opportunity to study abroad in Berlin, Germany. It was one of the best periods of my life. I was young and was experiencing my first encounter as an independent adult. While in Germany and meeting new people, I thought about my life and what I wanted to do in the future. It was very obvious to me that being Catholic was important. In Germany, I attended Sunday Mass and while it was conducted in German, and I was quite lost, I enjoyed the experience. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. My time studying abroad helped me move forward and cemented my desire to pursue the priesthood. My experiences in Europe helped me see who I was and what was important to me.
