World Youth Day 2008 in Sydney was an incredible pilgrimage. Seeing the Pope for the first time in my life and witnessing the universality of the Catholic Church has made me believe more in God in light of the Catholic Faith. It was after being on this pilgrimage to Australia that helped me discern how significant the life of a priest is in today’s world. It was a major spiritual journey for me to have been finishing Film School in college and being led to the World Youth Day that same year. I especially would like to thank Father Johnathan for inviting me on the pilgrimage and bringing me back to help with the youth group in Church. This is one of my most influential moments of my life.
