The Novitiate year was over, and it was time to take temporary vows of Chastity, Poverty, and Obedience. Saint Patrick Church in Kaimuki, Hawaii is the place where I professed to the public my religious vows. St. Patrick Church is the Mother Church of the Sacred Hearts in Hawaii. I could still remember this day vividly. It was full of tears and happiness.
